Global Recycling Day is celebrated annually on 18th March, to raise awareness on the importance of recycling. Recycling is the process of converting waste into reusable materials, which saves over 700 million tonnes in CO2 emissions each year and is projected to save over a billion tonnes of CO2 emissions by 2030.
